What a fabulous year !  Stone Creek would like to thank our sponsors...County Saddlery, Neddy's Breeches, Pro Cushion Flooring, Point Two Pro Air Jackets and Equi Fit. We appreciate your support! We would also like to thank our amazing team Veterinarians  Dr Daniel Pike and Dr John Elliot of Piedmont Equine. Another integral part of a successful eventing team is our farrier, Wayne Nunn. You guys were always there if we needed you. Thank you gentlemen!

Stone Creek's own home bred Flagmount's Irish Riverstone and Sarah Murphy capture the Land Rover 2010 American Eventing Championships Junior Novice Championship !

Out of a field of fifty nine Champion horses and riders from across the United States Sarah and River were second after dressage with an incredible average between the two Judges of a twenty eight! After a grueling cross country course that had multiple rider falls and eliminations Sarah and River glided into first. They had a stellar, balanced and powerful double clear stadium round to claim the Championship !

What an emotional win this was with the crowd erupting! Our Team Stone Creek came running and all of our supporters joined in. What fabulous memories of an incredible three day performance! This young horse is out of my daughter, Dr Leslie Robinson's upper level mare, Stone's Throw */*/. Leslie bred her to Flagmount's Freedom and he was born at home March 4th, 2003 early in the morning. He slept in our laps and comes inside every Christmas and New Years party to this day. He is an incredible athlete and carries his Dams beautiful movement and incredible jump.

We are starting his younger brother Brandenburg Windstar's Stone's Southern Cross. He won his first 3 phase outing on his fabulous dressage score! Currently Sarah and River remain # 1 on the USEA Leader Board for Junior Novice.

Stone Creek, where a young girls' dream began in October when she saw his baby pictures on this website and came to fruition beyond her expectation the following September.

2007 American Eventing Championships
Dr2EW-4519%20AEC%20Sep%202007.JPGAbsolut competed in the Preliminary Horse Championships against talented horses from around the country. The two and a half day haul from San Antonio to Chicago was well worth it as he finished with clear jumping in both cross country and ever so challenging stadium. His dressage was marred by peaking early in the long warm up so some movements, while obedient, were not as fluid and flowing as I would have liked. The competiton was difficult with Darren Chiacha and Clark Montgomery scoring in the twenty's. Absolut was in the mid forties.

At the completion of the open and galloping, then sprinkled with compression questions cross country we were clear moving up to 28th with 3.9 time penalties as a result from an over eager rear in the start box which botched the start at ' Go!'. However, he will have a handler next horse trial to settle and hold him. He loves cross country! 4XCFK-5541%20AEC%20Sep%202007.JPG He was spot on for every question and brilliant in his open gallops. I could not be more pleased.

Stadium was maxed out and challenging and changed the placings fairly dramatically on Sunday. Absolut was strong, yet he went double clear and we moved up to finish in 25th place.

The atmosphere was riveting and the crowds were huge. The USEA has done a remarkable job of building the AEC's into a national event not to be missed. The cross country course was adequately roped off and the crowd's were bulging against the ropes.

I heard from friends across the country who listened to our stadium round in the live feed streaming in real time. What an awesome addition to a fabulous, difficult and exciting experience!
